Neck Pain

Correcting neck pain is what l built my reputation on so what’s my approach.

1)      Do a thorough examination, understanding the cause of the neck pain from the patients point of view helps heaps.

2)      I usually start with a Chiropractic assessment and adjustment.

3)      I use Applied Kinesiology to determine what is wrong, what is the best technique to correct it and if the correction was successful, positive patient feedback is the ultimate dictator of success.

4)      Muscular work is done to any involved muscles

5)      If inflammation or arthritis are part of the problem the cause of this is found and corrected, treating this may take some time .

6)      Treatment is usually twice a week for 2 to 4 weeks .

My head has always tilted to the right of my body…all my photos you can see the slight tilt, but I never did anything about it…. after further investigation I  discovered that in fact this head tilt was caused by a birth trauma, I was born with the cord around my neck ,  I was born in the bed and not at hospital so the cord was around my neck longer than it should have been and caused some distress.

After a couple of visits and realignments from Dr.Maitland   I noticed a huge improvement in my posture, less headaches, mobility ….. I can even turn my head to change lanes in traffic ….these things all make a difference to my quality of life.

Many thanks
